Over the past several weeks, Steve and I have talked about a plan for us to move forward.  Approximately 10 weeks ago we closed our doors to be in compliance, and as mandated by the Governor of New York in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.  We took an early stand that we would not look for loopholes in the system or apply for fraudulent waivers that would do nothing but put our staff and customers at risk.  And in spite of other flooring stores and the “big box” stores selling flooring in addition to the essentials that they are open for, we have held that stand throughout this very difficult time.

As we talked early this week, the Governor lifted his mandate for companies such as ours beginning Wednesday May 27th. We are now preparing to open our doors beginning Monday June 1 and resume “new-normal” operations.

All five retail stores and our Shop-At-Home division will be fully open beginning 10:00 AM Monday June 1, 2020. We look forward to seeing our customers again (masks and all).
